Antique hand painted portrait miniature under glass signed what looks like D. Rostir. The portrait is in very good antique condition completed on a unknown medium. I've not taken this apart. Portrait is wrapped in a gilded brass frame adorned with a twisted wire accent. The pin mechanism uses a barrel lock design and closes securely. Brooch measures about 2" high x 1 5/8 wide".
