Postcard says; "Judge Thomas Waties (1760-1828) by Charles Fraser (1782-1860) Miniature painted in 1820, 3 3/4 x 3 3/16 inches, Catherine Walden Myer Fund, National Collection of Fine Arts Smithsonian Institution Washington 25, D. C.". Estimated to be circa 1950. Postcard has corner dings and edge wear.
