Unusual Antique Edwardian Damascene Style Fixed Button Back Cufflink Set

Offered here for your consideration is an usual button back cufflink set in the Edwardian style featuring a gilded front damascene style hexagon form. Features white and black enameling on a rose gold topped metal. Unknown what the metal is for these. One appears to have an old lead repair on the inside post, the other appears to have a crack around the post. Not sure how sturdy these are for wear. These measure about 18mm across, 13.9mm high.
