Unusual Victorian 14K Gold Filled Hat Pin with Hat Bar Pin & Chain Assembly Unusual and interesting Victorian bar pin chained to a ball topped hat pin in Rose gold. Very detailed, high quality costume piece. Bar brooch is testing 12 to 14K. Ball topper is testing 14K. Chain is testing 8 to 9K. ALL ARE GOLD FILLED. This is an original complete assembly as it was manufactured. No noted makers information. Under magnification: Brassing is visible on the bar pin at the edges of the piece with some greening at the soldier area of the c clasp; Brassing visible at the bottom chain area of the ball; Brassing visible in wear area of the attaching chain. Stick Pin - 3" long and ball topper is 12.8mm Bar Pin - 2 1/16" across, 7/16" high Chain - About 7 1/2" long Just a nice piece and the only other comparable I could find was not nearly the quality of this piece.
