This is a custom one of kind Victorian era butterfly conversion. The butterfly features enameled sterling silver wings with a 14K gold body accented with 3 rose cut diamond and two table cut diamonds. The eyes have set in them two table cut diamonds to complete the piece. This was most likely a brooch at one point, but as was normal during the Victorian era this was married to another older piece and came apart due to metal fatigue. We proceeded to clean all of the antique lead solder, and added yellow gold balls to the feet and a sterling chain to make this a stunning necklace your friends will simply envy. Keep in mind, these are genuine period earth mined diamonds in table cut and rose cut form. These cuts do not offer a lot of sparkle. The butterfly may be older but we estimate it to be circa 1860. Please review all of the photographs as they are of the actual item you are buying. Length: About 17 3/4" including the butterfly Butterfly Size: 1 23/128 wide x about 1" high Weig
