Victorian Era Book Chain & Pendant with Red Paste 19.5" Approx Rose Gold Tone

What a lovely and interesting antique Victorian period book chain with pendant. The chain on this does show wear as would be expected of an antique piece. Rose gold in color, the links are very thin & hollow with some of them being slightly squished. The total length of the chain bit itself - without the pendant or connecting pins is right at 18" and the links measure approximately 7.8mm wide and about 1.8mm deep. The pendant itself can be removed and worn as a brooch - such a nice feature. The pendant like the chain does show wear especially to the plating at high points. Features a raised design of a bridge w/boat reminiscent of an Italian scene. The pendant is accented with a floral & leaf design that features a round cut past stone.
