This custom Signature Collection hourglass is handcrafted from solid bubinga wood grown in Africa. Considered one of the Rosewoods it is a uniquely reddish brown color with evenly spaced stripes, uniform in grain and color, and finely textured. A beautiful, dense hardwood with a lustrous appearance, tnis wood can best be described as a cross between cherry and mahogany. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this is a truly gorgeous piece. As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in grain and color making each hourglass unique.
