They alsowork great in place of a heating pad on your table for serving as they allowthe heat to be evenly dispersed and not directed towards the heating pad ontop of your beautiful kitchen table. The great thing about these trivets is theycan be sat side by side to increase your surface area for that large casseroledish or fresh pan of cookies.Our trivets are built with various hardwoods including cherry, hard maple,red oak, walnut, and white oak.
