Huipil 36: Tactic

This is a pre-loved traditional huipil being sold by the weaver herself. The three-panel style each handwoven with four selvages is typical of Tactic, Alta Verapaz, and makes for easy and beautiful wearing paired with high-waisted bottoms.  We love the cheerful yellow hues in this piece! Brocaded figures include loroco leaves and flowers, a local edible plant. Handwoven and being sold by Elsa. The neck opening is large enough for comfortable wearing. We think this piece fits like size M.   Material: Cotton  Care: Gentle machine cycle and line dry. Colors will not bleed as the piece has been washed many times.
