The flap shuts easily with a magnet, and the adjustable strap can be removed for those occasions when you might prefer to carry the little clutch by hand. It is such a practical design! Both the outer and the inner textiles are cochineal-dyed and handwoven on a large pedal loom.  The purchase of this product supports the traditional arts of natural dyeing and weaving in Guatemala as well as artisanal leatherwork.
