Tansy Herb(tanacetum vulgare)AKA 'Bitter buttons, Cow bitter, Golden buttons' Tansy is a flowering herbaceous plant, ancient Greeks cultivate it as a medicinal herb. This bitter flavored herb is used as a rodent and insect repellent as well as a health aid for stomach discomfort. Later it became used in food preparation but only on a limited basis, and used in several traditional recipes for cakes and puddings and flavoring omelette in England. Also be used as a rub for poultry and meat to preserve it, prior to roasting. Suggested Uses & Health benefits: This dried herb can be used as insect repellent, and also made into infusions and washes for external use. Infuse 1 tsp herb in a cup of boiling water, cover, infuse 3 to 5 minutes and strain. Apply directly to the affected area for scabies, itching, bruises, sores, sprains, swelling, freckles, inflammation, vaginal discharge. For Relaxing Bath Soak: Combine 1 cup of Epsom salt, 1/4 cup of Tansy Herb, Add to a warm bath and soak
