5" x 8.25" Moleskine Notebook Cover - Large size (camel leather, fully lined)

This handcrafted, fully lined leather cover is made for the large-size 5" x 8.25" Moleskine notebook. It is completely made by hand without machines from start to finish (not even a sewing machine). It has a slot for the Moleskine's elastic band to pull through in order to hold the notebook cover closed when not in use. The slot has been reinforced with a double layer of leather, and has been completely handstitched. The outer leather is full grain camel leather. It has been lined with camel skin lining for added durability. Each notebook cover is constructed from full grain camel leather, which has 3 times the shear strength of cowhide. Having 10 times the collagen fiber density of cow leather, it has  a truly unique texture and grain. Every notebook cover is saddle-stitched by hand using luxury French Fil Au Chinois "lin câblé" thread coated with beeswax.
