Original Art Print - "Bushido"

This listing is for a canvas or paper print of my original piece of artwork entitled "Return to The Way of the Warrior". This piece features a samurai with clasped hands . This artwork is completely original and was hand painted. The patterns on the clothing are real fabric and feature various traditional Japanese print patterns. The pattern in the background is a mud cloth pattern that would be used on traditional fabric found in West Africa. The combination and juxtaposition of the two patterns is meant to compare and contrast and also show the integration of the two cultures; (Japanese Samurai and African(American)) that is shown in the artwork.The kanji symbols in the blue section read as follows from top to bottom: Bushido(The Way of The Sword)武士道, Meisou(Meditation)瞑想, Ten(Heaven/Divinity)天. The kanji symbols in the red section represent the seven virtues of bushido: Gi(Integrity)義, Rei(Respect)礼, Yuu(Heroic Courage)勇, Meiyo(Honor)名誉, Jin(Compassion)仁, Makoto(Truth)真, Chu(Devotio
