This pattern was charted for 1 thread over 2, for 40 count linen.  Something new for the gardener, the thoughtful one, and the one who just needs to bee…. You can choose your favorite count of fabric- and enjoy stitching some lovely little x’s depicting a delightful garden scene.  The colors and symbols are clear and easy to follow and you can just pick your favorites- linen and threads and just have some fun. Basic cross stitch x’s are used throughout this entire piece, as well as some back stitching, as noted on the chart.  This was completely charted in DMC-  however,  I’ve picked a lineup of my favorite threads and colors- used from previous charts- that are complimenting colors and will lend to a “painterly look” by giving shadows and highlights throughout the piece, but by all means- this is all yours and you, so have some fun with colors!!!
