Plate in Gloss Gray

A blend of crushed Amakusa stone and porcelain clay, finished with a smooth, high-gloss gray glaze. Made in Hasami, Japan. The Hasami Porcelain Plate in Gloss Gray is fired to a dense, low-porosity body with the high-gloss glaze applied across the face, producing consistent reflectivity and a non-porous surface. The rim is thin and even with no thickening at the edge. Plate-to-plate stacking across the range The plate stacks flush with other Hasami pieces of the same diameter, pairing with bowls, mugs, and the wood lid system across the line. The high-gloss glaze resists staining and holds its finish through regular washing; microwave-, dishwasher-, and food-safe.
