Antique Persian Heriz rug with a striking all-over geometric serrated leaf tribal design. Crisp clear colors from vegetable dyes, abrash, and a nice worn patina. Size: 7'7"x10'5” Age: 1940s Origin: Heriz, Northwest Persia Materials: Hand-knotted handspun wool pile on cotton foundation. Natural dyes. Condition: Good, but well-used condition. Most of the rug has even low pile, but there are localized area of lower pile as shown. (Item ID= K1768)
