"Pō'ALIMA" is one in a group of vintage travel posters from "Hawaiians in the Pacific Northwest" series. Hawaiians or "Kanakas" were working in the mainland Pacific Northwest by 1829. The artwork tells of Pō`alima or Peter Friday as he was also called during his employ as a shepherd/laborer with Hudson's Bay Company on San Juan Island.  ABOUT THE PRINTThe 8.5"x11" print is produced on a full-color press on textured stock.
