Turkish Malatya Pillow Case

These were woven as floor pillow covers (one side is flat Kilim woven and the the other side is eight pile or Jijim weaving). They were all woven in the 20th century with the best hand spun wool available in these areas, because they were woven to impress the looking eyes. Every region has its unique way of weaving (soft, hard, bright colors or dark colors). This one was woven in a town called Malatya. DIMENSIONSWidth: 22"Height: 36" MATERIALS Wool.
