Contemporary Clay Vessel "Moon Jar, Sgraffito"

I am in love with moon jars, the usually symmetrically spherical vessels with openings, or necks, and feet, or no feet. I can throw on the wheel, but only comically small pieces. I used a slump mold and combined the two halves to make this. I applied glaze all over the surface, then carved away the shapes you see.
