Leather Paint Bucket PDF Pattern with Video Tutorial
Video tutorial: https://youtu.be/YWcVh_H0k-Q This is a quick and fun project that wouldn't take more than a day to make, and it's suitable for beginners. I guess everybody has that piece of patent leather they bought when they just started because it was on sale (or just because how shiny it is, that's why I bought mine). The pattern has stitching holes marked for 5mm stitching irons. Size:Height - 5”Diameter - 4” What you are gonna need: Tools:Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, awl, pair of harness needles, waxed thread. Materials:For the body and bottom: 2 mm, stiff hand. For the paint and lining: 1-1.2 mm, bright color, shiny patent leather would be a good choice. For the bottom rim: anything medium to stiff hand, 1-1.2 mm Hardware:A piece of wire (I used an old piano string but it’s a bit too thin). Something around 1.5 mm thick might work better. Length about 7-8”, to your taste.
