Hishi Toji Muromachi Samurai armor
The Muromachi Hishi-Toji Samurai armor (cross-knotted samurai armor) was worn in battle by high-ranking samurais towards the end of the Muromachi - Sengoku period. Our Kachi class model is made with a Tosei Okegawa Ni-mai Do (two-part hinged chest armor) and consists of 14 individual steel armor plates hand-connected by odoshi (laces). Similar to the Muromachi Hishi-Toji of Taisho and Gashira classes, the entire assembly takes over 50 hours. The O-Sode (shield-like shoulder armor) features a colorful kebiki-odoshi lacing (also referred to as "full lacing") which our craftsmen are happy to color for you in different patterns or shapes. This colorful lacing gives the armor a vibrant appearance, just like the legendary classic samurais. Each armor comes pre-fitted for someone between 5'3" and 6'1" with an average build. The armor can be easily adjusted. Fully functional complete armor, size: 70.8x29.9x29.9 inches Standard size armor is suitable for individuals between 5'3" and 6'1" with
