What can we say about this? We’re typing this on a Saturday and customers are here (thankfully)—but they are distracting us. We’ll keep this short: Here’s a letterhead from Breitkopf & Härtel, the oldest music publisher in the world. A nice business artifact from olden times—and check out that type! Also note the reference to the year: 191.... Meaning this was meant to last for ten years. Someone would fill in that last number by hand or typewriter. Wild, eh?
