It’s 1951. The end is near for Gebrüder Klingspor. It’d been open since 1906. It survived wars and changing tastes, but it would not survive ownership by Stempel as they would shut it down in 1956. Not quite a last gasp, it is an exceptional showing of the breadth of their types and the omnipresent ingenuity of their specimens. A beautiful thing printed in 1 zillion colors. And check that cover. Someone should turn that into a T-shirt. Or, at the very least, an Instagram post.
