Smart Track Performance Foot Braces use stout aluminum tracks and a stiff spring to keep the length adjustment locked even when upside down while setting up for a roll. Comfortable, ergonomic foot braces. Easy to use adjustment rods mean no fishing around with your toes to change the setting. Perfect for rudder-free skeg kayaks needing replacement foot braces, kit kayaks or for new kayaks delivered with wimpy foot braces. Mounting holes are the standard 14.5" on center that most foot-braces use. Mounting bolts and rubber sealing washers are included. The rubber washer goes between the rail of the foot-brace and the inside of the kayak. Put some anti-seize compound on the bolt threads before assembling (We use automotive "white grease" which isn't technically an anti-seize compound, but it works great for this application).
