PAINTING DETAILS Since my son was a very little boy, he and I spend time together saving seeds throughout the growing season. It’s a time to sit and be together, chatting and sharing stories while we save the remains of the years seeds to be planted next year. This piece is inspired by him: a light and bright soul filled with color and punctuated by bright blue eyes. “THE SAVERS” is a framed 20”x16” original painting. It has been sealed and varnished to protect the work from dust, scratches, and UV light, making it a piece that will last a lifetime. The paint and varnish wrap all the way around the sides, top, and bottom of the canvas so that you can enjoy the texture and color of this piece from any angle should you ever choose to remove it from the frame.
