'Indigo' (Framed Original)

In this original woodcut print, Kean depicts an a-frame - a wave that could be ridden cleanly in either direction. When the wind and swell are just right, waves will peak in the middle (as depicted here) and provide a surfer with a ride breaking left or right.  Kean mixed several different inks to create an indigo hue in this piece, a subtle change from his go-to black and white format.   Original Woodcut Print Limited edition of 25 (#2 of 25 available) BFK Rives Paper measures 19"x15" Douglas Fir Shadowbox style frame measures 24”x20”x1.5"
