Porsche Design by Orfina (Ref. 7750)
In 1972, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche established the Porsche Design Studio in Stuttgart, Germany. One of the studio's initial ventures was a watch, the Chronograph 1. This timepiece, launched in 1972 and introduced to the market in 1973, was notable for being the first watch to feature a black PVD-coated case and bracelet. Alexander opted for this all-black design to minimize reflections. The dial was meticulously arranged for optimal legibility, with the black sub-dials complemented by a red chronograph hand to enhance clarity. Early editions of this watch were powered by the Valjoux 7750 chronograph caliber.Brand: Porsche Design by Orfina Reference: 7750 Cal: Valjoux 7750 Case: 40mm Lug to lug: 43mm Box/papers: No CONDITION & SERVICING -The hands and markers have the same creamy hue to them. -The case is in good condition showing honest wear throughout.-The bracelet was previously PVD coated.
