We see some of these animals right in our neighborhood, the roadrunner  for example - we all seem to have a roadrunner or two living in our yard in Albuquerque! There is even a coyote who has made the city his home, living in someone's back yard. He enjoys treats from passers by, so if you come visit, we'll show you where he lives!  In fall the Sandhill cranes  fly over our fields on their way to the Bosque del Apache near Soccorro NM, where they spend the winter.
