Xenos The Orchid

     Of all the beautiful flowers in the world, not one compares to the orchid for the beauty, luxury, sexuality, and strength it represents. People talk about the exotic beauty of the orchid-like they do a woman or man. In China, they are regarded as emblems of integrity, elegance, and friendship. The orchid has a symbiotic relationship with a fungus to survive which makes them adaptable to many conditions. The orchid as a Xenos makes me think of the people that people aspire to be, rather than celebrity or royalty. In this quality, they are a thought leader and need to maintain a level of integrity and class that is not expected of most. That is why I feel like phrases like “ behind every good man is a great woman” and such exist. It is hard to maintain your composure and strength as a public figure without having someone to lean on.
