To extend the legs, flip open the ABS plastic locks, then pull the rapid center column up, so the tripod can reach a maximum height of 64". The tripod can also have a minimum height of 7.25" by simply removing the center column, splaying the legs completely out, and reattaching the AirHed Mini back to the yoke of the tripod. Adjusting the tripod back to its normal position, the center column can be reversed to get even closer to a subject for macro photography.
