Sea of Connections II

Created initially as an educational mural for Miami iPrep Academy, the large-scale artwork is a 2,000 square foot interactive seascape of native marine ecosystems and aims to provide students with the opportunity to engage in science through hands-on activities like mural painting, art classes, and webinars with scientists from the University of Miami Shark Research, University of Miami Coral Research, and Shark Education.  By adding this detailed pelagic scene to your home, you are directly supporting Florida marine science education for kids K-12.  Sea of Connections will be a beacon for curious minds. The completed mural will be filled with some of Florida’s most colorful and iconic creatures, many of which are located just a few miles away from the school. Linked via a QR code will be a knowledge base organized around the mural.
