Style: Sparkling Rosé Vintage: 2018 ABV:  12 % Region:  Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, Penedes Country:  Spain Varietal:  50% Trepat, 30% Monastrell, and 20% Pinot Noir.  Pairing Ideas: Exceptional quality 'cava' can go with everything.  Pale pink, subdued, and elegant clean, pure, and almost crystalline aromas of red fruits, raspberry, dried cherries, herbal floral notes, and spices.  The clean nose evolves with a smooth, voluminous, fruity texture, pleasant freshness, and fine bubbles. Driven by an outstanding balance, with low dosage. Great as an aperitif, cured meats and cheeses, seafood and game birds.  Unique History: 1312 is the year the family started making Cava.  They are on their 30th generation of wine-making.  Mestres only uses the traditional grapes of their terroir.
