
A Question of Time
Kathleen A Dale’s prize-winning poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies. She is the author of three chapbooks, two full-length books of poetry, and an autobiography. She has been interviewed by various literary journals and has won several best-of-issue awards.In 2022, Dale’s poem, “The Final Thing” (now titled “First Dive”), placed first in the Kelsay Books’ Women’s Poetry Contest in partnership with the International Women’s Writing Guild. In 2021, her poem, “A Question of Time,” was one of only six nominated by Rattle for the Pushcart prize—her second nomination.Dale is a native of Kansas, where she published her first poem and began the lifelong practice of keeping a journal. She received a BA in English at Ohio Wesleyan University and an MA in English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan.
