Still Available on Amazon Justin Evans was born and raised in Utah, spending the majority of his early life in the town of Springville. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army, where he served in Texas, Germany, North Carolina, and in the First Gulf War. Upon returning from his military service, he began attending college at Utah Valley University. He married his wife, Becky, in 1993 and went on to complete his bachelor’s degree in History and English Education from Southern Utah University. After, he began teaching in Nevada, where he lives today with Becky and their sons. He also has a master’s degree in Literacy Studies from University of Nevada, Reno. Justin’s first chapbook, Four Way Stop, was released in 2005 after winning the Main-Traveled Roads Press Chapbook Award. Other chapbooks have been published by Foothills Publishing.
