Marjorie Moorhead writes from a river valley, surrounded by mountains and four season change, at the border of NH/VT. She found a voice in poetry after surviving AIDS in its early years, and becoming a mother. Much of her work addresses survival, environment, relationship, and appreciation of the everyday. She is author of Every Small Breeze (Kelsay Books 2023), the chapbooks Survival: Trees, Tides, Song (Finishing Line Press, 2019), Survival Part 2: Trees, Birds, Ocean, Bees (Duck Lake Books, 2020), and In My Locket (Finishing Line Press 2024).
