Matthew James Friday is a writer and teacher from England. He has an BA in Scriptwriting for Film and Television from Bournemouth University (UK) and an MA in Creative Writing from Goldsmith College, University of London. Matthew currently works as a grade-school teacher in an Oregon public school. He spent four years teaching in a public school in London and then moved to Germany to work in an international school, where he met his American wife, Jill. They then worked in China, Germany again and Switzerland. Matthew is also a professional storyteller for children.  As a poet, Matthew has had many poems published in US and international journals from all over the world.
