The Orange Bicycle - Original Oil Painting

Original oil painting on 24" x 20" stretched canvas Sep 2025 This latest oil painting is based on a photo I took in 2020 of an orange bicycle near a street corner in Capitol Hill, Seattle. I knew the minute I saw this street view that I had to paint it. Five years have gone by and I've finally done it. I remember sitting at a light there in the rain, just staring at this scene and thinking to myself, "Isn't life strange?" My mind quickly drifted into that old song by The Moody Blues...
