Rapid Box Jaw Tongs

Rapid Box Jaw Tongs were inspired by our Quick Tongs series. These tongs are made out of thinner material, making the tongs lighter and easier to handle when working with smaller stock sizes.  Difficulty Level: Beginner Tools Required: Vise, Twisting Wrench or Tongs, Hammer, Drill or Hot Punch Helpful Tools: Vise Spacers, Rivet Bucking/Heading Tool Box Jaw Tongs are great for working with flat bar stock and the edges that form the "box" give you a sturdy hold on your material. The jaw has a generous amount of material that allows it to be drawn out to fit a variety of sizes.  Rapid Box Jaw Tongs are made from 5/16" thick mild steel. The jaws of the box jaw blank are 2-3/4" long x 1-5/8" wide and the reins are 11-1/2" long. Price includes a pair of Rapid Box Jaw Tongs blanks, one 1/4" x 1" rivet, and an Instruction page.
