This table is small, but mighty! It's the perfect size to hold your favorite beverage, phone, etc. next to your favorite seat in the house! The top was created out of a Lace Maple Burl live edge slab. The wood features high amounts of figuring, gold, light brown and cream colors, unusual edges and organically gorgeous visual interest. The wood has been worked, sanded, oiled and quenched with several layers of an oil based satin film finish to resist moisture and scratches. The film finish application used on the top is an old school method and time consuming process that takes around two weeks to achieve. The hand-rubbed beauty and protection obtained from building up multiple thin coats of finish nice and slow is unmatched when compared to the quicker one coat finishes mostly use
