Fabian Tsethlikai's adorable fossil stone armadillo has turquoise eyes and nicely etched armor. In ancient days, giant armadillos walked the earth. They belong to the extinct genus Glyptodon of the Pleistocene Epoch. Their bodies were covered by a horny and bony armor. Several years ago a farmer in Argentina discovered four of these car-sized fossilized armadillos at the bottom of a dried out river bed, how cool is that! About 1 5/8" long, 3/4" wide and 1" tall.
