Blue Sunface Katsina

Gregg Lasiloo's latest offering is titled "Sunface". This stunning piece is all hand carved out of cottonwood, hand painted with colorful acrylics and intricately incised. The Zuni Sunface is decorated with delicately incised radiating feathers. Below the Sunface, there is a beautiful Pueblo night scene with full moon high in the sky. Gregg honors Father Sun with a necklace of fine turquoise beads and precisely detailed eagle feathers. We love Gregg's contemporary interpretation of traditional katsinas. This collectable carving is 16" tall, it stands on a base 3 1/2" square base.
