This single cultivar samidori matcha is crafted by Yoshitsugu Furukawa & Mizuho Furukawa, a husband and wife duo working in the town of Gokasho within Uji. We have been working with the Furukawa family for years now, celebrating their pioneering organic production and character-driven single cultivar offerings. In 2025, their teas placed first overall in both the regional Kansai tea fair and the national tea fair—a supreme honor that reflects their stunning production.
