An engraved Vegvisir (Protection) Stave adorns the top of this cherry hardwood, finger jointed and lidded box, filled with a set of square, purple heart hardwood Elder Futhark (Viking) runes. The 25 runes, including a blank rune (traditional for rune reading) and are stained and sealed hardwood, on both sides, and measure about 1 x 1 x 1/4" inches.
