Black Spider Wood 8"-14"

Spider Wood is one of the more popular elements that can be added to your aquascape. These pieces add a ton of character and interest for the aquarium inhabitants and provide an amazing place to glue down mosses or some plants. Black Spider Wood is VERY different from the standard Spider Wood. It's considerably darker, generally larger and thicker. It's absolutely STUNNING in any aquarium aquascape. Preparing your Spider Wood: We recommend you place the new piece in an appropriately sized pot full of water and boil it to remove bacteria or any types of contaminates that might be on it. This is a natural product so you never know. Boiling the wood will not only remove contaminates but it will also help to begin the water logging process to help it sink. Spider Wood is very light and will float. We recommend you attach the wood to a piece of slate or weigh it down with rocks.
