These belts are what you want to go for if you want something really special, that a tremendous amount of work has gone into.  They are made from 10-12 Oz Leather, with a liner made from 2-3 oz natural vegetable tanned leather.   If you are not familiar with the process of saddle stitching - before buying this belt is a good time to learn a little bit about it.  I do not use a sewing machine for any of my products - I saddle stitch.  This means attaching a needle to each end of a long run of thread, and stitching a figure 8 through the material.  One of the advantages of this type of stitch- is that because you re-establish tension on each stitch, years down the road if you bust a stitch while climbing a tree or whatever it is you may be up to - none of the stitches around it will be affected.   These are completely custom items.  Please be prepared to go over a good amount of information with me with respect to material availability, sizing information, buckle style, etc.  You will be
