Exceedingly rare Turkish edition of this eyewitness and firsthand account of the Greco-Turkish War in 1897, translated from the original English edition. As a special correspondent for The Daily Telegraph of London and war photographer, Ashmead-Bartlett accompanied the Turkish Army in Thrace during the Battle of Lule Burgas (28 October to 3 November 1912) and the subsequent retreat on the lines of Chataldja (today Çatalca).
