She is a self-taught potter that found fun and relaxation while throwing clay on the wheel. She eventually acquired a slab roller and expanded her style to slab work. After discovering a hidden talent and a love for her craft, Bev began to sell her pieces at various craft shows and was received well by the public. Black Raven Pottery was born.In 2014 a shop was built on Bev's property in Arcade, NY. The Arcade shop and studio were the beginning of a flourishing business. Bev continued to do shows and exhibits.
