These orthoceras fossil specimens are polished on all sides and are small light weight pieces excellent for using for jewelry crafting purposes such as necklaces or key chains and the like. These are high quality pieces with a single well formed fossil running down the center of the stone. These have a 1/8 inch hole drilled near the top of the stone to place the stone on a necklace chain or string.NOTE: When they hand shape and polish these stones the hole is drilled AFTER the stone is polished and the edges of the hole are not polished.
