WINEMAKER NOTES Inspired by the late harvest and Sauternes wines of Europe where grapes are picked at the highest concentration of flavor and sweetness, Tjaila is an ultra-premium dessert wine with high sweetness. The aromatics evoke everything that is honey and honeysuckle. The palate presents with a comforting glazed feel showcasing flavors of honey, apricot, and cantaloupe with beautifully balanced acidity. Pronounced 'chai-luh'. Tjaila is the tribal word in southern Africa for 'quitting time' or 'end of the day or shift'. It is just a fun term for a wine to savor after work.
