A remarkable feat of native ingenuity, the Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras are a World Heritage Site consisting of a complex landscape of rice terraces on the tropical island of Luzon in the Philippines. Kilala Company is proud to share this cultural and historic accomplishment by our native people, one that shows a tradition of hard work, creativity and a communal spirit. To that end, we will donate half of the proceeds of these shirts to the Cordillera Heirloom Rice Project. The Cordillera Heirloom Rice Project helps preserve and revitalize the rice terraces of the Cordillera region of northern Luzon, Philippines.
